Keep everything for one project in a single, see-through bag — from the first pattern to the finished piece. The Garment Project Bag is large enough for full-size garments, with two clear front pockets for your pattern and notes, and a long double-zip back pocket for thread, buttons, and tools. A card slot lets you label each project at a glance.

When it's time to go, fold it in half, grab the handles, and carry it like a tote — everything stays zipped inside. At home, hang it full-length so your work stays visible and wrinkle-free. It's made for sewists juggling more than one project who move between home and class and want one bag that does both jobs.

Why You'll Love It

  • One bag for home and class — Folds in half with handles to carry like a tote, then hangs full-length for storage. No need to buy a separate travel bag and storage bag.
  • Everything for one project, in one place — Two 12"×12" clear front pockets and a long double-zip back pocket keep your pattern, notes, thread, and notions together with the garment.
  • See your work at a glance — The clear panel keeps each project visible instead of buried in a tote, so you always know what's in progress and what's next.
  • No mixed-up supplies — One project per bag keeps this dress, this pattern, and these buttons together — so you never grab the wrong thread again.
  • Labeled and ready to grab — A built-in card slot lets you label each project, making it easy to pick up exactly where you left off.

Specifications

1. Garment Project Bag

  • Material: Polyester body with PVC clear panels
  • Size: 40" × 24" × 3"
  • Pockets / contents: Two 12"×12" clear front pockets; one long double-zip back pocket; one card slot for project labeling
  • Design features: Clear front panel for visibility; folds in half; carry handles; hangs full-length on a hanger

Instructions

  1. Pick a project and place your pattern and any notes into the clear front pockets so they stay with the garment.
  2. Zip your supplies into the back pocket — thread, buttons, zipper, scissors, and seam ripper for this project only.
  3. Hang the garment or pieces inside, so everything for the project lives in one bag.
  4. Label the card slot (for example, "NEXT: insert zipper") so you can see at a glance where you left off.
  5. To travel, bring the bottom of the bag up to meet the hanger to fold it in half, then carry it by the handles like a tote — everything stays inside.
  6. At your sewing spot, unfold and hang it nearby, with your pattern in the front pocket and tools in the back pocket within reach.
  7. At home between sessions, hang it full-length so your work stays visible and wrinkle-free until next time.

Care: Spot-clean the woven fabric with mild soap and a damp cloth. Wipe the clear panels clean (do not submerge) to keep them clear. Allow to air-dry completely before storing garments.

John ★★★★★

I fit an entire dress project in one bag with the pattern, fabric, and notions all together. Being able to see through it means I'm not digging around guessing which bag holds what.

Kevin Z. ★★★★★

The clear front pockets are perfect for keeping my pattern and marking pen separate from the fabric. I can see exactly which project is in each bag without unzipping anything. Two of these finally got my sewing table organized.

Sebastian C. ★★★★★

I’ve stuffed a whole quilted jacket in progress in here, and the see-through front means I can spot the pattern pieces without digging through everything. The two clear pockets are perfect for holding my notes and smaller notions, and the size feels just right for keeping one project fully contained
